Motorways and
High Speed Roads

Mortorway

Training Overview

You will receive professional training on how to join and leave the motorway, overtake and use lanes correctly, putting your theoretical knowledge into practice.

Before your training can begin:

Before we begin we will start with an eye sight test, you’ll have to be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20m for a new-style number plate or 20.5m for vehicles with an old style number plate.

  • Please remember to bring glasses/contact lenses if you require them for driving.
  • Please remember to bring your driving licence and national insurance number so that we can check your licence details online.

About the Training

I offer training courses for driving on Motorways and other high speed roads. This could be for someone wanting to refresh their knowledge, as part of an advanced driving qualification or as part of the learner driver programme.

Since 4th June 2018 Learner drivers have been able to receive training on Motorways with an Approved Driving Instructor in a dual controlled car, provided they are test ready.  This will allow you to get a broader driving experience before taking the driving test. You will receive professional training on how to join and leave the motorway, overtake and use lanes correctly, putting your theoretical knowledge in practice.
